ABUNDANT LIFE
Biblical Counseling

A CHRIST-CENTERED APPROACH
Find identity in truth.
Walk in lasting freedom.
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:32 ESV
Life can leave us feeling stuck, uncertain, or unsure of what comes next. Biblical counseling offers a place to slow down, look honestly at what you're facing, and seek wisdom and direction through the truth of Scripture.
THE HEART BEHIND ABUNDANT LIFE
More than getting through what's hard.
Biblical counseling isn't simply about solving a problem. It's about learning to see ourselves, our circumstances, and our relationships through the truth of God's Word—and discovering the freedom that comes from living in that truth.
WHAT IS BIBLICAL COUNSELING?
Biblical truth applied to real life.
Biblical counseling is a Christ-centered approach to walking through the challenges of life using the truth and wisdom of Scripture. It recognizes that the Bible speaks not only to what we believe, but also to how we understand ourselves, our relationships, our struggles, and the choices we make.
This isn't about having someone simply tell you what to do. It's about slowing down, listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and looking together at what God's Word says—so that truth can be understood, applied, and lived out in everyday life.

ARE YOU FEELING STUCK?
You don't have to have everything figured out to take the next step.
Life can get complicated. Sometimes we know exactly what's wrong but aren't sure what to do next. Other times, we simply know something isn't right. Biblical counseling creates space to slow down, look honestly at what's happening, and seek wisdom from God's Word for the way forward.

ABOUT JOEY
Sometimes we need someone willing to walk alongside us.
I'm Joey. My heart is to come alongside people, listen well, ask thoughtful questions, and help them look at life's challenges through the truth of Scripture. I don't believe counseling means having all the answers for someone else. It's about walking together toward greater clarity, truth, and freedom in Christ.
My own life has been shaped by faith, family, service, leadership, and the relationships God has placed around me. Those experiences have deepened my belief that lasting change isn't simply about changing circumstances—it's about understanding who we are in Christ and learning to live from that truth.

A LITTLE OF MY STORY
Faith. Family. Service. Ministry.
My path to biblical counseling didn't begin with a title. It grew out of years of serving, leading, teaching, mentoring, and walking alongside people through real life.
FAITH & FAMILY
A husband and father whose faith in Christ shapes how I understand identity, purpose, relationships, and the way we care for one another.
SERVICE & LEADERSHIP
A U.S. Navy veteran with decades of leadership experience, I've learned the value of listening well, meeting people where they are, and helping them take meaningful next steps.
MINISTRY
Through small-group leadership, teaching, discipleship, mentoring, speaking, and biblical counseling, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people as they grow in their faith and navigate life's challenges.
At the center of all of it is a simple conviction: people aren't projects to fix. They're people to know, listen to, encourage, and point toward truth.
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up...”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV
